My school

 

The name of my school is G/dharmasoka collage in Ambalangoda. My school is the best in our city. My  school most talented staff who bring out the best from the students. there are more than 1000 students in my school. My school is my second home and is the  most popular organization that homes my teachers and guardians. I even enjoy the holidays. My school conducts physical education class once every week. My school has a big playground given opprtunities to excle in sports. My school is very beautiful and very best. I love my school.

Sinhala and Hindu New Year

 

      This festival symbolizes the sun from pisces house to Aries house. The New festival has very special customs. On this day Sinhalese and Hindhus light the hearth at an auspicious time. They also take their the meal at an auspicious time. They are many special food. Milk rice is made with rice and coconut milk or cow's milk ,spicy onion chillie sambal,kewum,kokis,asmee etc. The cuckoo bird and red coloured Erabaduhu flowers tell the message of new year to the country.

Trip to Nuwara Eliya

 I  visited Nuwara Eliya recently. It is situated in the central province. It has a cool climate. so It is called " the little England ". There are so many beautiful places in nuwara eliya. The lake Gregory, the Victoria park and Haggala gardens are some of them. Horton plains is the most fascinating sight. Water falls , endemic plant and animals and world's end can be seen there. Nuwara Eliya is a famous tourist destination.  Colorful  flowers and green tea estates are attracted by the visitor. So I would like go there again. 

My contribution to save the enviroment

We are a part of the environment. We depend on each other. so we must save the environment. I never throw polythene in to the environment. I grow plant in my garden and water them every day. I don't put garbage in to the water. I never waster water. I always be kind to animals. I think that it is over dey to protect to environment as responsible citizens.

My Favourite Sport

I play lots of sports like football, Netball.. etc.  but  my  Favourite  Sport is Cricket.  It is an out door game. A team consiste of eleven players.  A ball , a bat and stumps are needed to play the game. Cricket is played between two teams, where each team has eleven players.   I play  cricket will my Friends in my friends in my free time. My friends and  I play on the playground near our school. I am a member of the school  cricket team.   our team has played many matches. Cricket is a popular sport in Sri lanka.  I like to play cricket as it is exciting and interesting game.

The job I like most

 I like working in the field of entertainment. I like to be a dancing teacher. because I have a good artistic sense. I wish to provide my service to the school children as a teacher . 

I like to train children  to dance. My dream is make my children achieve a lot and get worldwide recognition and I believe that it would give a lot pleasure which is really uncountable. Dancing is an interesting , attractive and a relaxing activity. it is good for both mind and the body. I hope that I can cope when things get tough and I am punctual. I wish my dream comes true.💓💓💓💓

The uses of a University library

       A  library is a great source of information. A University library is important for student as well as lecturers. There are various types of reading materials in the university library. News papers, Magazines, encyclopaedias , novels and books  related to studies are some of them. We  can improve our  Knowledge and find information for our studies by reading them,  So as student we should used the library whenever it's possible .they can also borrow books for few days to study at home in time of vacation. Recently the use of  computers and internet has made a library an important source of information. I feel pleasure having great benefit from my university library. I think all university should maintain a good library.
