Kandy Esala Perahera

 Esala Perahera is the grand festival. It is very grand with elegant costumes. Happening in July or August in Kandy Depending on the Esala full moon. It has Become a unique symbol of Sri lanka. After the Kandyan Kingdom fell to the British in 1815, the custody of the Relic was handed over to the Buddhist Clergy. In the absence of the king,a lay custodian called the "Diyawadana nilame" was appointed to handle routine administrative matters. The randolo perahera begins after five nights of the Kumbal perahera. Randoli refers to palanquins on which the Queens of the ruling Kings Traditionally traveled. It is also five nights perehera and largrgest perehera, which goes around the streets of kandy, with more than 100 elephants. It is very important and beautiful procession.

Temple of the tooth

 Sir Dalada maligawa or the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic is a Buddhist temple in the City of Kandy ,Sri lanka. It is Located in the royal palace complex of the former Kingdom of Kandy which houses the relic of the tooth of the Buddha. since ancient times, the relic has played an important role in local politics because it is believed that whoever holds the relic holds the governance of the country. Kandy was the last capital of the Sri lankan kings and is a UNESCO world heritage site partly due to the temple.

Internet

 We all know that internet is an important tools in today. Internet a word known by every human across the world. It is the most used thing in this modern period. Internet stands for interconnected network. It is a network system that connects computers worldwide. Internet has countless advantages for us. Communication is one of them. People can get connected with each other through many online platforms. Many people spread fake name and spread violence, and sometimes this becames the reason for a big riot. that's why we nedd to become careful on the internet before sharing something. In conclusion, anything in this world is neither only good nor only bad. the same goes for internet technology. It  completely depends upon the user how he or she is using it. We can't deny the fact that internet mode our lives very comfortable as well as interesting. It we can use the  internet in the proper way then we can learn many things from it and can use it for our good.

Motherland

 My Motherland is Srilanka. it is a beautiful island in the Indian ocean. It is also called ' The pearl of the Indian ocean ". The nearest neighbour is India. Srilanka has a hot wet climate. The population is more than twenty million . This is a multi ethnic and multi  religious country. There are Sinhalese, Tamils, Muslims and Burghers. Tea ,Rubber, Coconut and Paddy are the main crops that grown in Srilanka . There are many attractive places. I am proud of my motherland.

Park

 There are  several parks where I often go during my spare time, but the one I like the most is the  one in the seethawaka park.  This park is very beautiful and different shades of green. At one entrance, there is a pond, and at the other , an open area for children to paly. Vistors can also enjoy a boat ride at the man make lake built using the natural water  flow from the nearby hills. Most of the trees and pants are marked with a name tag for the visitors to identify them. Seethawaka botanical garden still growing.  Some are recently planted trees and they need some time to grow and show their real beauty. This is by far my favourite park .

Parents Wedding Anniversary

 Todays was the marriage anniversary of my parents. Me and My sister have arranged a small party at home. we have invited some of our neighbour and some relatives but this was a surprise party. Our parents were unaware of it. At  evening suddenly all came and mom dad a were surprised. Then we gifted dad a watch and mom a locket. They were really happy and enjoyed the whole party. We all had dinner together. Mom and dad were really surprised. All enjoyed and all were really happy. 

How I Spend My Free Time

 There are many things that I like to do in my free time. they are my hobbies. I am sure other people have their hobbies, too. The  hobby I like most in playing my guitar. It was giving to me by my mother for my 21 th birthday. My uncle, who is a guitarist , taught me how to play it. Now I can play a few simple tunes. I have  even begun to sing while playing the guitar but I am not so good at this. My  uncle tells me that I need to practice a lot to become good at playing the guitar.  There are other things that I like to do but they are not so interesting playing the guitar is my favourite pastime. Next comes taking care of my fish. These things really keep me occupied. I am glad I am able to do them.
